Biography
Bernie Fawcett was born on the Wirral, an area just across the River Mersey from Liverpool, England. Raised against a backdrop of the musical explosion of talent which took place so close to home back in the 60's. Bernie soon formulated his own ambition to write and perform. His talents were spotted very early, and lead to him traveling worldwide performing in the USA, South America and the Carribean, as well as throughout Europe, but perversely, up until now, not very often in his homeland.
During his travels he has gained an enviable reputation, based on his easy going good humour, spiked with his continuous search for the perfection of his craft. His journeys, in far-flung places have given his writing and his performances an edge which touches everyone. They are a unique mix of dreams laced with melancholic disappointment and fervent hope, they are without pretension and are a reflection of what is happening around him as well as within.
